30 Days Sit Spot Challenge

Join our 30 Day Sit Spot Challenge and reawaken your ancient connection to the natural world.

This simple but life changing practice can lead to a lasting sense of calm and happiness. Most human beings are searching in their own individual ways for a feeling of safety, belonging and acceptance. Reconnecting with nature at a deep level can give us just that.

Starting on May 17th 2025, you can connect with the 30 Day Sit Spot challenge from wherever you are. It is perfect to do alongside our face-to-face courses or for our subscribers who live too far away to attend our courses in person. It is also great for those who at this point in time don’t feel comfortable to attend our events.

What is a sit spot?

In short, a sit spot is a place you go to regularly to connect to yourself and to nature. The idea is to take yourself to a place in nature and just allow yourself to open your senses to that place. Your time spent in your sit spot can be as short as 5 minutes initially. You then revisit the place at different times of the day and through all the seasonal changes. Over time this helps us to become attuned to the rhythms and the movement of the natural world and develop a deep connection with your spot.

The benefits are enormous and include:

•    Improved mood
•    Reduction of stress, anxiety and depression
•    Increased calm and wellbeing
•    Increased creativity
•    Better problem-solving skills
•    Deep sense of connection to the natural world

To support this practice, we are creating a closed Facebook group for the 30 day sit spot challenge. This will be a lovely space. Each day we will share tips, practices and inspirations. We will invite participants to share their own photos from their sit spots, experiences, stories, observations and challenges on their sit spot journey.

If you would like to join the group you can do it here: (20+) 30 Sit Spot Challenge | Facebook

The 30 day sit spot challenge is freely offered but donations (via our website) are greatly appreciated.
